As a reminder, to learn about IHSW, click here. My Flip-Flops are coming along nicely! I really am enjoying this project. I was disappointed to learn that I reversed the sand colors on my pattern when I strung my floss, so rather than a light sand with a dark highlight, I have exactly the opposite. I am not about to start over, but it is a warning to others who have this pattern that mine doesn't match the pattern. It's still really nice though.
I'm working on the last set of flip-flops, and then I will work on the rest of the ocean before starting the "Welcome" and the bottom border. So far, I have 12 hours devoted to this fun stitch.
Lovely flip flops! The colors are really like summer:-) IHSW is great to make sure you find some stitching time, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYes it is!! I usually try to plug in the time since it helps me relax, but at least once per month, I'm "extra" motivated.

ReplyDeleteThey're all cute, Kasey. Grats on the progress.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture - so colourful. And all you've done is make your version a one-of-a-kind and that's never a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteBea - Thank you for the lovely reminder that I will have a unique finish. ;)
